Silk began experimenting with ceramics in 2021 and it quickly became her passion. She now works as a full time artist and content creator, making social media content and artworks for high end brands. She is also the founder of the wine label, Silky Wines.

Her work consists of painting, ceramics and sculptural lighting.

Silk has amassed a following of 1.7 million people across her social media platforms (@silkcartwright) for her artistic and fashion/lifestyle based content, and was named one of "Gen Z's powerful rising new A-listers" by the Daily Telegraph in 2023.
